About Jason

Prepared like a pro. Fun like a friend.

Jason Hurta is a New Braunfels emcee who has spent more than a decade in front of crowds, from packed festival tents in Texas to SummerStage in Central Park. Organizers bring him back because the program runs on time, the sponsors get their moment and the audience has a great time.

He served on the New Braunfels City Council from 2020 to 2023, so he's as comfortable with a dignitary introduction or a dedication as he is with a crowd chant. And yes, he's also the 2014 US National Masskrugstemmen Champion and co-founder of Texas Stein Holding.

He also spent a couple of years fronting the local band Jason Hurta and The Reformed, so he's just as at home sharing a stage with musicians as he is running one.
